NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – This weekend, the Tennessee Performing Arts Center is hosting a unqiue performance of “Oklahoma!”

News 2’s Nickelle Smith had a chance to chat with Sasha Hutchings, one of the performers about what we can expect.

“The first thing you’ll notice are the sounds, the orchestrations. Instead of a full orchestra, we have a seven-piece band on stage and they have a very bluegrass sound. We’re wearing what feel like more familiar clothes current day – jeans, plaid t-shirts, flannels, and there are cowboy chaps on stage, so you’ll see a little bit of that western flair and a lot of cowboy boots,” Hutchings said.
