Water is receding tonight but many roads are still dangerous, especially in the dark. Local fire and police departments are recommending extreme caution if you are driving tonight as water on the road may be hard to see.
A Flash Flood Watch is in effect through Thursday morning for rain that could be heavy at times, especially in the Tennessee counties near the Alabama border. In that time period 2-3" could fall. And that is just "Round #1. Additional rounds of rain could culminate in 4-6" over a 7 day period.
