A few strong storms will be possible as we head into your Saturday afternoon and evening. The greatest threat for severe weather is for our southeastern counties where there is a Marginal Risk (category 1 out of 5) for severe storms.
The main threats will be gusty winds up to 40 mph and heavy rain.
Stay weather aware throughout the day especially if you plan on being outside. Highs will make it into the mid 70s.
Localized flooding will also be a threat, especially south of I-40 where we could pick up between 1-2″ of rain.
