Heavy rain continues overnight and get ready for round 2 Thursday!
The rain will continue overnight for areas north of I-40. In some spots we have seen 2″-6″ of rain leading to flooding. We still have Flash Flood Warnings up for parts of our area and a Flood Advisory for most of our area until 9:30 Thursday morning.

Tomorrow during the afternoon we will see another round of heavy rain and storms. The main threats will be heavy rain that could lead to flooding, damaging winds, and an isolated tornado. Keep an eye on the radar at wkrn.com/radar.
Storms will begin to break out north and west after lunchtime coming through Nashville for the ride home from work. During the day we could also see record high temps and very windy conditions before any storm hits.
We will see more rain from these storms so a Flood Watch is up through late Thursday night for Southern KY.
Behind this system, temperatures turn much colder going from the 70s Thursday to highs only in the 40s Friday.
