Few storms east today, dry tomorrow, storms back Sunday
Mild and muggy this morning with patchy fog throughout the area.
A front will be moving into Middle Tennessee today and may bring a few showers and storms, mainly east of I-65. A couple of strong storms can’t be ruled out. Overall, hot and humid today, but a breezy south wind will help us out.
The weekend will be split in two. Tomorrow we will be dry and the humidity may be slightly lower, with a high in the low 90s. Showers and a few thunderstorms return for Sunday.
A heads up for the mid to later part of next week. Temperatures will likely reach the mid to upper 90s with heat index values 100 plus as we head to Wednesday and Thursday.
