Hot for the rest of the week, and strong storms possible Thursday

A comfortable night with temperatures falling into the mid and upper 60s. The heat is on tomorrow afternoon as highs soar into the low and mid 90s. Heat index values will be at or just over 100°. A few showers and storms are possible tomorrow.

An Air Quality Alert is in effect through midnight tomorrow. Those with respiratory problems or those who are spending a lot of time outdoors doing strenuous activities may be impacted.

Strong storms are possible Thursday especially in our northwest zones. We are already under a marginal risk so please pay attention to the weather that day. The heat continues into the weekend with a few storms Saturday and Sunday.
