Pleasant Sunday, strong storms possible Tuesday

Temperatures this morning are starting out near 50 and there are a few areas of patchy fog. The afternoon will be pleasant and partly cloudy. Highs will top out in the mid 70s today.

A few showers are possible Monday afternoon and highs will warm into the mid and upper 70s. Tuesday scattered showers and thundershowers will be likely. A few strong storms can’t be ruled out north of I-40. We are under a Marginal Risk (category 1 out of 5) for severe storms.

After getting back to near 80 on Wednesday, a cool down is coming our way for the end of the week.

Thursday’s highs will only be in the mid 60s with a few scattered showers, and by Friday, highs may only be in the mid 50s!

Don’t store away the jackets just yet!
