ASHLAND CITY, Tenn. (WKRN) — A 27-yer-old man was killed in a fiery crash in Ashland City Thursday afternoon.
The crash happened at 4:50 p.m. on Ed Harris Road.
The Ashland City Fire Department reported medics responded to the crash and found a Volkswagon Jetta on fire with three occupants trapped inside.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol reported David Mooningham, of Ashland City, died at the scene.
The other two victims were taken to an area hospital and are listed in critical condition, according to the Ashland City Fire Department.
Mooningham was a passenger in the Jetta, which was headed west on Ed Harris Road when it missed a curve and went down an embankment and hit a tree, according to the THP.
No additional information was immediately released.
