Two drivers were injured in a head-on crash in Clarksville early Friday morning.
The crash occurred around 2:45 a.m. on 101st Airborne Division Parkway near Trenton Road.
Both drivers, a 24-year-old woman and a 54-year-old woman, had to be extricated from their vehicles. The 24-year-old woman was taken to TriStar Skyline Medical Center and was last listed in stable condition. The 54-year-old woman was taken to Tennova Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The westbound lanes of the roadway were closed to traffic and reopened just before 6 a.m.
The investigation is ongoing and police said charges are pending.
