NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Temperatures cracked the 60s for highs in many areas Sunday afternoon with a stiff southerly breeze, gusting over 25 mph at times.
Look for cloudy skies overnight, with lows near 50 in the city with some 40s sprinkled in outlying areas.
The warm-up continues Monday, BUT we will see a few scattered showers off and on during the day, but no storms.
We expect temperatures to reach the 60s again on Tuesday, but upper 70s Wednesday, and our first 80-degree weather of the year on Thursday. We expect to shatter the record of 74 on Wednesday and come just shy of Thursday’s record.

However, there may be some storms in the mix, as well, particularly Wednesday afternoon and evening. Right now the Storm Prediction Center keeps the outlined severe weather area to our southwest and out of the News 2 Viewing area. However, that could change, so we’ll keep you posted!
