NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Our winter storm has moved out but the bitter cold temps have moved in.
The majority of our viewing area has seen anywhere from 4 to 8 inches of snow. Also, our southern communities saw more ice than snow.
We set a new record daily snowfall at Nashville today. We picked up 6.3″ of snow beating the old record of 4.0″ set back in 1977.

Travel issues are expected overnight into Friday morning as temperatures drop into the single digits. The wind chill Friday morning will be below zero in spots.
Friday afternoon, high temperatures are expected to reach the upper 20s. Mild air returns for the weekend with highs in the upper 40s and mid-50s. Rain is expected late Saturday into Sunday.
