LOUDON, Tenn. (AP) — Authorities say three children have been injured in a tubing accident in eastern Tennessee.

Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency spokesman Matthew Cameron tells news outlets that the incident occurred Saturday afternoon at the Watts Bar Reservoir in Loudon County.

Officials say the victims were in an inner tube that was being towed by a personal watercraft when they struck a bridge pier.

Officials say a 12-year-old and 13-year-old were flown to a hospital in critical condition. A third child was being transported to a hospital via ambulance.
