Police identify 20-year-old shot, killed during argument in Antioch

Police have identified the 20-year-old man who was shot and killed during an argument in Antioch on Monday night.  

The shooting happened around 9:40 p.m. near Oakwood Terrace, according to Metro police.  

According to police, the victim, Jamarquise Glenn, was shot in the chest and taken by private vehicle to TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center with critical injuries. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.  

Officers searched the area near Oakwood Terrace for the crime scene.

Witnesses told police that Glenn pulled a pistol during an argument with an unknown woman on Miners Cove. He was reportedly shot after a struggle ensued. 

Officials also say two men were with Glenn when he arrived at the hospital, but one fled the scene before police arrived. 

Glenn’s death has not been officially classified, according to officials. Detectives believe robbery is the motive for the shooting, but are still investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.
