Around 9:20 a.m. Saturday deputies with the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office were called to a home in the 6600 block of Trousdale Ferry Pike on a stabbing.

When they arrived, deputies said they found a woman who was stabbed multiple times around the throat and arm area.

The woman was identified as 25-year-old Ariel Warden.

Officials rendered first aid until WEMA arrived on scene.

Authorities said the suspect, identified as 28-year-old Christopher Clark, ran off but was caught a short time later by deputies at Jennings Creek Bridge, just east of where the incident occurred.

Warden was pronounced dead at Tennova Medical Center in Lebanon. A GoFundMe account has been set up for Warden.

Clark was officially charged with first-degree murder, two counts of child endangerment, and aggravated assault.
