About 100 people displaced in Antioch apartment fire

Firefighters battled a large fire at Timberlake Village Apartments in Antioch Sunday.

Fire officials now saying about 100 people are displaced after flames swept through their homes around 9 a.m. 

Neighbors ran through the complex banging on doors to get people out as the fast-moving fire engulfed the building. 

No injuries have been reported from the scene.

It’s unclear how many apartments are damaged but a large part of one of the building has collapsed.

The complex is located behind Lighthouse Christian School off of Blue Hole Road in Antioch. 

The Red Cross was on the scene helping displaced residents and said they may have to set up a shelter.
