A stellar treat in the night sky Saturday

On Saturday night, the moon will position itself to appear right between Jupiter and the star, Antares.

The two will shine brightly in the sky, with Jupiter about 19 times brighter than Antares.

Although Antares isn’t as bright as Jupiter, it still shines a bright reddish color in the sky.

This color is very fitting for this star as it marks the heart of the Scorpius the Scorpion constellation.

The only brighter objects in the sky are Venus and Mars, but you still should be able to pick out Jupiter and Antares in the sky just fine.

The moon will move above Antares on Sunday night.
