Tennessee currently has 3,585 people hospitalized with COVID-19.

Though the Department of Health reported another drop, the latest number still puts the state at 3,500+ patients every day in September. Tennessee began the month on a 10-day streak of new record-highs for current COVID hospitalizations.

There are currently 1,071 people in the Intensive Care Units with 758 of them on ventilators.

As of September 14, 2021:

  • Floor Beds Available: 1,123 (10%)
  • ICU Beds Available: 117 (6%)
  • Adult Ventilators Available: 1,757 (56%)
  • Airborne Infection Isolation Rooms Available: 455 (31%)
