Back in 2012, Cordarelle Patterson was a prized recruit at Tennessee.
He played one season and became a first-round pick of the Minnesota Vikings.
After four years in Minnesota and one more in Oakland, he was traded to the New England Patriots. Now, he finds himself playing for a Super Bowl title.
He has four touchdowns this season, and number five in the big game wouldn’t be bad.
“You’ve got to be ready for anything to happen in the Super Bowl. You ain’t get here by luck! So just got to go out and whenever my name is called execute everything,” said Patterson on Media Day.
The Vols football program is still among the leaders in producing Super Bowl players.
