The Titans are all set at safety after rewarding Kenny Vaccaro with a 4-year, $26-million contract Monday afternoon according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.

Vaccaro joined the Titans last year in training camp after Johnathan Cyprien tore his ACL during the first week.   He started 13 games for the Titans and registered 41 tackles, 2 sacks and an interception, he also became a locker room favorite.

Titans safety Kevin Byard quickly tweeted his response to the news.

“I was trying not to say nothing this off-season but I’d take my guy @KennyVaccaro4 over anybody.. congrats my boy happy as hell for you!!”

Vaccaro was originally a first-round pick of the New Orleans Saints after starring at Texas.
