On day two of the NFL’s legal tampering period Titans general manager Jon Robinson struck again reportedly reaching a deal with former Rams offensive lineman Rodger Saffold.
Multiple reports have the deal at 4-years and $44-million with $22.5-million in guarantees. It is the biggest deal Robinson has handed out so far after giving $36-million to Adam Humphries and $26.5-million to Kenny Vaccaro.
Saffold was part of a dominant Rams offensive line. He was drafted by the Rams with the 33rd pick of the 2010 NFL Draft.
The 6-5, 325-pound giant is expected to line up at left guard next to Taylor Lewan. He replaces Quinton Spain who’s contract expires Wednesday.
