Tennessee Titans Safety Kevin Byard picked off Cowboys QB Dak Prescott on Monday Night Football, then ran to midfield and celebrated on the Cowboys’ star logo before his teammates joined him.

Byard will now pay the price for it, literally, after the NFL hit him with a fine Friday.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Byard was fined $10,026 for the celebration.

After the game, head coach Mike Vrabel was less than thrilled about the celebration.

“That’s not what we want as an organization, that’s not what I want as a head coach.  I want our guys to play as hard as they possibly can for each other,” said Vrabel after the game.

The last player to celebrate on the Cowboys’ star was Terrell Owens.

The Titans have no plans to punish Byard internally.
