Despite losing preseason, Titans fans optimistic about future

Tennessee Titans

As the Titans fell short to the Minnesota Vikings in their fourth and final game of the preseason, fans shared their hopes for the team this season.

The Titans came to town 20 years ago, but this season it’s going to be a whole new ballgame with a new head coach and a new look.

Even with the rain Thursday night, many fans stuck it out, hoping the hometown team would pull out their first preseason win.

Even with the loss, there is a lot of optimism surrounding the Titans.

Fans told News 2 in the next 20 years in Nashville, they’d like to see the Titans win a Super Bowl.

“Super Bowl rings for sure,” Collin Gatlin said. “And other than that, Mariota starting to hone in on it, [and] get some touchdowns for sure.”

Frank Holt has been a supporter of the team for the last two decades.

“I hope I can do another 20,” fan Frank Holt said. “I’ve been here since day one, so I’d like to see them really improve and made a good stand here.”

The Titans open their regular season on Sept. 9 against the Miami Dolphins.
