Brian Boyle scored his first goal as a Predator and Nashville ended a three-game losing streak with a 3-1 win over Montreal Thursday night at Bridgestone Arena.

Boyle scored the game-winner off of a drop pass from PK Subban 8:36 into the 2nd period to make it 2-1 Preds.  It was Boyle’s 14th goal of the season and first since the Preds sent a 2nd round pick to New Jersey for him just over a week ago.

Ryan Hartman started the scoring in the second period when he poked a rebound past Carey Price to make it 1-0 Nashville.  It was Hartman’s 10th goal of the season, but his first in two months.

Viktor Arvidsson added an insurance goal in the third to make it 3-1.  Arvidsson has a team-leading 26 goals this season.

The night belonged to Preds goalie Pekka Rinne though who was spectacular in goal stopping 34 of 35 shots for the victory.

Tomas Tatar scored the lone goal for the Canadians.
