After scoring three goals in the Predators’ prospect game, Zach Magwood was rewarded with a three-year, entry-level contract Tuesday.
The 20-year old Magwood was an undrafted invitee to the Preds’ camp and became the star of the show last Friday night at Bridgestone Arena with his hat trick.
Magwood had 59 points last season with the Barrie Colts of the Ontario Hockey League scoring 27 goals.
Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced Tuesday that the club has signed forward Zach Magwood to a three-year, entry-level contract.
He set career highs in games played (65), goals (27), assists (32), points (59) and plus-minus (+27) at the OHL level and helped Barrie claim the Central Division title for the second time in three seasons.
