Predators beat Oilers 3-2 in shootout

PK Subban had a goal and an assist, and the Nashville Predators beat Edmonton 3-2 in a shootout Monday night at Bridgestone Arena. 

Pekka Rinne made 25 saves in the victory, he stopped Sam Gagner to end it after Brian Boyle put the Preds up 2-1 in the shootout portion of the game. 

Edmonton took a 1-0 lead in the 1st period on a shorthanded goal from Draisaitl, that was his 37th of the season. 

Nashville scored two goals in less than 90 seconds in the 2nd period.  The first came when Rocco Grimaldi fired on the net and Colton Sissons swooped in for the rebound and his 11th goal of the season to tie it 1-1.  1:26 later it was PK Subban hammering a shot from the blue line past Mikko Koskinen to make it 2-1 Preds. 

Draisaitl tied it back up at 2-2 on the power play for Edmonton with his 38th of the season. 

With the win the Predators move 1 point ahead of Winnipeg for 1st place in the Central Division.
