What does that mean for Nashville? It means thousands of NFL fans from across the nation and globe will flock to Tennessee next April to experience something special.
For Titans fans, they won’t have to travel far. That’s why Sam Cumbee is happy to see the draft in Nashville.
“I grew up here and I am a Titans fan so to see it here is very cool,” said Cumbee.
The 2019 NFL draft will be held April 25 to 27. It’s the same weekend as the annual St. Jude Rock-N-Roll Marathon.
Organizers for the race said they will not re-schedule the annual marathon that attracts as many as 20,000 runners.
“The Rock ‘n’ Roll team is pleased that everyone’s hard work has led to Nashville being chosen to host the 2019 NFL Draft… We look forward to celebrating our 20th running as well as working with the NFL to plan the week of exciting festivities and events.”
