NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – After a thrilling extra-innings walk-off SEC championship win Sunday, the Commodores have learned their fate in the NCAA Tournament.

Vanderbilt will host a Regional as the No. 2 overall seed. 

Three teams head to the Music City for the Nashville regional: Ohio State, McNeese, and Indiana State.

The SEC tournament and regular season champion host Ohio State for their opener Friday at 6 p.m. on ESPN2.

Down the road in Knoxville, The Vols are in the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2005. They head to the Chapel Hill regional to take on Liberty in Game 1 also Friday at 6 p.m. 

Meanwhile, the Tennessee Volunteers ended a long run of frustration earning their first NCAA Baseball Tournament bid since 2005.

The Vols go to the North Carolina Regional where they are the two seed after going (38-19) this season.  Tennessee faces third-seeded Liberty (42-19) Friday night at 6 PM Central time.

The other half of the UNC Regional has the top-seeded Tar Heels (38-18) playing fourth-seeded UNC-Wilmington (32-29) Friday evening at 6 PM Central time.
