The education department has released the results of last school year’s TNReady tests.
The positive trends include growth in English Language Arts for elementary students and improvement in high school math.
Students in historically disadvantaged groups also showed notable progress.
The results also showed all subject areas declined in overall performance, and students across the board saw declines in science.
Given all the problems with the online testing last school year, the education department hired a third-party to expert to determine if that impacted scores.
The company found minimal impact on the overall scores.
