MNPS 7th graders won’t be allowed in class starting Friday without proof of updated vaccinations

Beginning Friday, Metro-Nashville Public School seventh graders who have not submitted their completed immunization forms will not be allowed to attend class.  

Students who need their vaccinations can get them at any Metro Public Health Department clinic on a walk-in basis. They do not take appointments. Those locations include:  

  • Lentz Public Health Center at 2500 Charlotte Pike. Hours: M – F  8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 
  • East Public Health Center at 1015 East Trinity Lane. Hours: M – F 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m
  • Woodbine Health Center at 224 Oriel Ave. Hours: M – F 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Students with religious or medical reasons can be exempt. Those exemptions have to be approved by a doctor.
