Metro Health Department hosts immunization clinics before school begins

The Metro Health Department is hosting an evening immunization clinic Tuesday and Thursday nights.  

The Lentz Public Health Clinic, located at 2500 Charlotte Ave., will be open until 7 p.m. Tuesday but students must be signed in by 5:30 p.m.  

On Thursday night, another evening clinic will be held at the Woodbine Public Health Center located at  224 Oriel Ave.  

Kindergartners, seventh graders and first-time Tennessee students need vaccines before heading to class on Aug. 7.
