News 2 partners with Midd. Tennessee animal shelters for adopt-a-thon

April 11 is National Pet Day and to celebrate, News 2 has partnered with animal shelters across Middle Tennessee to help pets find forever homes. 

Williamson County Animal Center

The adoption fees will be lowered to $2. 

The shelter will open from 10 am to 6 pm on Thursday.

The Humane Society of Dickson County

The adoption fees will be $100 and cover spay/neuter costs for adult dogs. 

The shelter will be open from 10 am to 4 pm on Thursday.

Wilson County Animal Control 

The adoption fees will be $10 and include first shots and de-worming medication. 

A shelter representative asks for people to call for an appointment.

Metro Animal Care and Control 

Adoption fees for available animals will be lowered to $2. 

The shelter will open from 10 am to 6 pm on Thursday.
