The countdown to the NFL Draft continued Tuesday in Music City with crews continuing to work on the massive stage at the end of Broadway.
For decades the NFL Draft was held in New York City, but recently, the league made some changes starting in 2016, moving it to cities like Chicago, Philadelphia, and Arlington, Texas — and now, it’s Nashville’s turn to play host!
“It’s a big deal,” said Buffalo Bills fan, Jessica Snow. “It would be awesome for any city to have that recognition. It puts them on the map for the NFL. I just think it is really cool for those who are visiting those who are here and the locals. It’s great.”
“I love it, said Denver Broncos fan, Chris Bock. “I think the NFL is doing a good thing by bringing the draft to new cities. It energizes the fanbase from all over the country. Instead of New York, they did Philadelphia, now Nashville and hopefully one day in Denver.”
There is good news when it comes to hosting an NFL Draft as past host cities have brought in millions of dollars in revenue.
