Young Buck accused of vandalizing ex-girlfriend’s apartment

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Nashville rapper Young Buck, whose real name is David Darnell Brown, was arrested and charged with vandalism this week.

According to an affidavit from Metro police, Young Buck’s ex-girlfriend reported he sent her text messages “telling me he was going to come over to my apartment and burn it down” on Wednesday.

The 35-year-old rapper is accused of showing up to the apartment and kicking in the front door, which Metro police stated busted the frame.

The victim told authorities Young Buck did not come inside and allegedly left before police arrived.

He was booked into the Metro jail the following day Thursday and released a few hours later on $1,500 bond. He’s due in court Aug. 1.
