Yo Gotti’s tour bus hit by gunfire near Midtown


NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Bullets struck a tour bus belonging to rapper Yo Gotti as it was parked Tuesday night near Midtown.

Metro police responded around 11:10 p.m. to the area of Hayes Street and Louise Avenue where the unoccupied bus had been hit by gunfire.

When officers searched the rapper’s tour bus, they said no one was onboard and no gunshot victims had been located.

Police referred to the incident as “apparent targeted vandalism” and said the motive remained under investigation.

Yo Gotti, a rapper from the Memphis area, has released multiple albums over the last two decades and earned various award nominations, including at the BET Hip Hop Awards.
