Joe B. Davis has 100 years of memories. And this Memorial Day he has a lot to celebrate.
Mr. Davis was born on May 27th, 1919.
We talked about his birthday, how he met his wife, and he also told stories from his time in the war.
He was drafted and served in the army on the front line.
He was shot in the shoulder during battle, then returned to fight with the 1st Infantry Division.
Mr. Davis is a Purple Heart recipient and says the key to living to 100 is to always work hard.
Mr. Davis plans to celebrate by taking it easy at home, maybe calling a few friends, and having some cake.
