The woman who hit and killed a Rutherford County teenager on Interstate 24 in 2014 pleaded guilty to various counts of vehicular homicide Friday.

Tina Wilson will spend 30 years in prison.

During her court appearance Friday morning, Wilson apologized to victim Clifton Braunwalder’s family.

The teen’s father read a prepared statement accepting her apology and said the family forgives her for the accident.

Braunwalder was 13-years-old when he was hit by Wilson while he was changing his mother’s flat tire.
