A driver was taken into custody after a rollover crash in Old Hickory early Tuesday morning.

It happened on Old Hickory Boulevard near Iris Drive around 3 a.m.

The female driver was headed southbound on Old Hickory Boulevard when she crossed the lanes of traffic and hit a utility pole, which caused the car to flip onto its roof.

She was able to crawl out of the vehicle and was not injured in the crash.

Metro police said she was taken into custody on suspicion on driving under the influence.

Power was not lost in the area due to the crash but crews from Nashville Electric Service responded to the scene to repair the pole.

No additional information was immediately released.
