Well-known attorney serving time in KY for 2015 DUI

A well-known, local attorney is now serving time, according to a report from WKRN affiliate WBKO

According to officials, Travis Lock is currently in the Warren County Regional Jail serving a 10-day sentence for a DUI from 2015. The jail time is part of a commitment order from the district court.

For years, Lock worked as Timothy Madden’s attorney. Madden is the man charged with the kidnapping, rape, and murder of Gabbi Doolin in Allen County.

Lock was removed from the case in 2018 and replaced by a public defender so that Madden could receive state funding for special services.

Lock also appeared in Simpson County court earlier this year after he was charged with fourth-degree assault in November of 2018. Lock pleaded not guilty to that charge, which stems from a hunting/land dispute between him and another man.
