Take a spin inside Nashville’s Lane Motor Museum

Weekend Extra

Square. Round. Oval. The cars at Nashville’s Lane Motor Museum come in all kinds of shapes and sizes. Some even have skis and propellers. The museum on Murfreesboro Pike features 150 vehicles, the likes you’ve never seen before.

News 2 photojournalist Garrett Arnold takes you inside for a spin. Special thanks to Rex Bennett, the museum’s educational director.

They don’t have all of the cars they own out at all times, but you can see additional cars in the collection when they offer their “vault tours” on weekends.

It is called a “motor museum” because they have more than just cars. You will also find scooters, canoes, aircraft, bicycles… basically anything with wheels other than locomotives.
