It’s time to check your chips! We’re talking about microchips for your pet.
If your dog does not have one, listen up.

This is a great time to check your pet’s microchip registration and make sure it’s current and up to date.
Many veterinarians are participating in Check the Chip Day on August 15.
Metro Animal Control is making it a whole week from Aug. 11 – 17. You can stop by the shelter any day from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. And did we mention that’s it’s free?
They will scan your pet, give you the microchip number, all your contact information in their database in case your pet gets lost and ends up at the shelter they will know how to contact you.
If your pet doesn’t have a microchip, MACC will chip your pet for $10.
