The account @world_record_egg, now has 10 million followers and was created by Chris Godfrey, a British ad agent, to pursue the Instagram like record.
The account posted photos of the egg with a crack that becomes progressively larger with each photo.
The final post coming on Sunday when this video produced with Hulu showed up during the Super Bowl. The egg blaming the pressure of social media for causing it to crack, and encouraging anyone else struggling to reach out for help.
