Weekend Extra

A lot of fun stuff going on around town… starting with a matinee showing of Love Never Dies at T-PAC. The show starts at 1:00 p.m. and tickets start at 25 bucks.
For those who don’t know, this is Andrew Lloyd Weber’s follow up to Phantom of the Opera!
There’s also a 6:30 p.m. showing tonight if you can’t make the matinee.

Nashville Pride is coming to a close today… but not without one last bang!
The Sweet Tea Dance at the Basement on Eighth Avenue is Nashville Pride’s official closing party.
Doors open at 4:30 p.m. and the DJ starts spinning at 5:30 p.m.
This is a free event and everyone is invited, but you must be 21 years-old.

Out at First Tennessee Park, it’s the finale of the “Battle for the Boot” series, as the Nashville Sounds or “Honky Tonks”, play the Round Rock Express.  The winner of the nine-game
series takes this trophy as the two “Music Cities”  battle for bragging rights on the diamond.
Gametime is 6:15 tonight.

Then, Bill Maher is coming to town!
If you’re a fan, you can see him live tonight at the Ryman.
His show kicks off at 7:30 p.m. and tickets start at 72 bucks.

Go out and make it a great Sunday, no matter what you do.
I’ll see you back here with traffic tomorrow morning on “Good Morning Nashville.”
