If you’re a runner, this one’s for you! In Goodlettsville, the 5K Stop, Drop and Run event is tearing up the town Saturday morning.

This is the 5th annual event and all proceeds benefit the Goodlettsville Fire Department Children’s Program.

You can get the whole family involved — a fun run kicks off the festivities at 7:30 a.m. followed by the 5K at 8 a.m.  Registration starts at $20.

In Gallatin Saturday you can visit the Market In the Park event, this is free!

You can shop for homemade items from local vendors, boutiques and some of your favorite food trucks all in a one-stop-shop. That will be held at Triple Creek Park from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Tennessee State Fair kicks off this weekend at the Nashville Fairgrounds. Gates open Saturday at 10:30 a.m.

If you buy your tickets ahead of time, you can save a couple bucks or regular admission is $8 at the gate.

Another freebie coming your way in Clarksville as Riverfest brings out the good vibes.

Sister Hazel is the headliner, they’re set to hit the stage at 9:15 p.m., leading up to that, there will be food, vendors, music and an art show.

Gates open at 10 a.m. at McGregor Park.
