Roll out of bed and head to Cheekwood for the Halloween Pooch Parade!

News 2’s dog-loving Nikki Burdine is morning emcee (along with her own canine sidekick Reggie)

Morning Event Schedule:

  • Doors open at 9 a.m.
  • Kids Activities from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
  • Pet Introductions and Costume Contest 10:30 a.m., immediately followed by the Pooch Parade
  • Cy Winstanley will be performing Bluegrass from 11 a.m. -2 p.m.

  • Kids Activities from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
  • Cy Winstanley will be performing Bluegrass from 11 a.m. -2 p.m.
  • Pet Introductions and Costume Contest 2 p.m., immediately followed by Pooch Parade

The 9th Annual Tennessee Beer and Wine Festival is taking place at Two Rivers Mansion on McGavock Pike. Guests can enjoy 100 different beers and 90 selections of wine! 

There will also be local artisans, food vendors, live entertainment and a German beer garden.

Tickets start at $40 and this event runs from noon until 5 p.m.

You know it’s a spooky Saturday when the Full Moon Tattoo & Horror Festival comes to town.

This is the 17th annual event and taking place at three different venues; the Embassy Suites Hotel Airport, the Hotel Preston and the Full Moon Cineplex.

The Embassy Suites portion at 10 Century Boulevard is where the celebs are gonna be!

All day today from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., you can snag autographs and photo ops with celebrities, along with some permanent ink. Tickets start at $15.
