The Wilson County Fair is back in town! On Friday morning they fired up the rides for us!

They have a new operator this year which means some new rides for families.

The fair opens at 10:00 a.m.

Downtown, it’s day 2 of exciting rodeo fun.

The PBR is bringing the Music City Knockout back to Nashville.

The riders compete in a bracket-style event.

Tonight’s competition begins at 6:45 p.m.

There will be a plaza party starting at three, so come down early!

Next stop:  Clarksville!

Dunbar Cave State Park is hosting the Third Annual Hummingbird and Butterfly Festival.

There will be guided hikes, pollinator garden tips, children’s arts and crafts and more!

The fun is free for the whole family and gets going at 9:00.

From hummingbirds to honey bees!

Come and celebrate World Honey Bee Day at Harpeth Hills Golf Course.

You will be able to observe bees in the hive and learn all about these amazing insects.

It goes from 9:30 this morning until 11 and the event is also free.

Finally, come out to the Clay Lady’s Campus on Lebanon Pike in Nashville for a celebration of our thriving art scene.

The Ugly Pot Throw is a Nashville tradition.

You get to throw pots that have no use to you anymore and watch them break into shards! (Don’t try that one at home!)

The shards are then used for mosaic projects.

The “Throw” starts at 6:00 p.m. The celebration gets underway at 5. It is also free.
