NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A man barricaded himself inside a home on 17th Avenue North in North Nashville Wednesday night.

Metro police told News 2 officers spotted a man wanted on felony domestic violence warrants around 6 p.m. when he ran inside the home.

The home is where the victim in an earlier domestic dispute lives and officers believed she could be inside, according to police.

When the man would not come out, SWAT team members and negotiators were called to try and persuade the man to exit the home.

The situation ended just before 1 a.m. Thursday when the man and woman emerged from the home without incident.  Neither were injured.

Detectives are investigating to see if any additional charges will be filed.

The man was booked into the Metro jail on his previous outstanding warrants. No additional information was released.
