An investigation is underway after a vacant home in North Nashville caught fire early Thursday morning.
It happened on Gardner Lane, just off White’s Creek, around 1 a.m.
The home was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived to the home.
After it was determined the home was vacant, firefighters used a defensive attack plan to put out the flames.
“At one point I was like should I check my backyard because at one point there were flames in the front yard and backyard and our houses are pretty close together and there’s a lot of dry brush and foliage,” said neighbor Merideth Driskell.
No injuries were reported.
The cause is under investigation by the Fire Marshal.
