Traffic stop nets pills and cash in Jackson County

JACKSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) – The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office got more than expected during a recent traffic stop.

During a traffic stop on Highway 56, a K9 officer reportedly sniffed out prescription pills that appeared packaged for sale and $700 cash.

Officers believe the money was from selling drugs.

No other information was released on the reason for the stop or if any arrests were made.
