WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) – A tractor-trailer caught fire early Thursday morning on Interstate 840 West in Williamson County.

It happened at mile marker 40 near Arrington Vineyards around 1:30 a.m.

Troopers with the Tennessee Highway Patrol told News 2 the rear brakes of the trailer caught fire. The driver was able to disconnect the tractor and pull away from the flames.

The truck was hauling food products including potatoes, Hershey’s chocolate syrup, straws and frozen foods.

The right lane of I-840 West is expected to be closed until at least 8 a.m. while crews clean up the debris.
