Todd County, Ky. woman dies after car goes into a creek

A Todd County, Ky. woman died after her car went into a creek. 

According to WHOP, it’s unknown when the incident happened, but first responders believe 73-year-old Helen Miller was driving east on US 68 when her car exited the left side of the road for an unknown reason and went between two bridges before going into the swollen creek. 

Officials said the car drifted about 100 yards south down the creek before coming to a rest. Miller’s body was found near the shoreline not far from the car. 

Kentucky State Police is investigating.
