Titans re-sign RB Antonio Andrews to a 1-year contract

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The Tennessee Titans have re-signed running back Antonio Andrews to a one-year contract as he was set to become an exclusive rights free agent on March 9.

The team said Wednesday Andrews led the Titans in rushing last year with 520 yards on 143 carries.

He also registered a team-best with three rushing touchdowns.

Andrews also added 21 receptions for 174 yards and tossed a 41-yard touchdown pass to Marcus Mariota against the New York Jets.

The running back originally signed with the Titans as an undrafted free agent in 2014. He played in four games as a rookie.

He totaled 3,674 rushing yards and 6,799 all-purpose yards during his four-year career at Western Kentucky.
