The Tennessee Titans look to end a two-game losing streak with a win over the Chargers Sunday in London
It’s the Titans first game ever across the pond. They have to hope the long trip helps to change the outcome against a Charger team they have fallen to nine at their last 10 times.
The big news Sunday from London is the status of Los Angeles star Melvin Gordon. Gordon, who has 466 yards rushing this season, is one of the league’s top dual threats out of the backfield and is out of the game with a hamstring injury.
Quarterback Philip Rivers still leads the Los Angeles attack and it has flourished this season scoring at least 23 points in every game.
The Titans offense is struggling massively. The team has failed to score a touchdown in three of its last four games and it’s coming off of a 21-0 embarrassment against Baltimore last weekend.
The Titans offensive line will be without starting left guard Quinton Spain who is out with a shoulder injury. Second-year player Corey Levin will start in his place.
